Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa established the Office of Census 2010 to develop comprehensive education and outreach programs that will educate, motivate and encourage all Angelenos to participate in the upcoming Census. Our success depends on key partnerships throughout the City that will:
- Maximize the City’s extensive relationships with local, state and federal leadership to support an unprecedented citywide collaborative campaign.
- Leverage substantial resources within the government, philanthropic and private sectors to address the severe crisis of Census 2010 underfunding.
- Lead a comprehensive citywide education, outreach and media campaign that integrates recognized community stakeholders, volunteerism, and strategic communications.
Achieving a complete and accurate Census is in our hands!
